I booked a vacation that they ended up canceling, and then they wouldn’t give me my deposit back—just a voucher, which is against the law. Luckily, I managed to claim it back through my credit card using section 75. I’m really skeptical about all these glowing 5-star reviews. Plus, their prices are often way too high. Watch out, they might try to take advantage of you!! If you're looking for Maldives trips, check out Tripadvisor for some solid suggestions; Best at Travel isn’t one of the good ones!

We just got back from our trip to Thailand, which we arranged through Best at Travel. Honestly, I can't find anything to complain about. We had a wonderful time. The whole booking and payment process was super straightforward. Their prices are quite competitive too, especially when you stack them up against other popular holiday companies. Our advisor, Lauren, was absolutely fantastic - always there to assist with any queries we had. We've tried other agencies in the past, but this experience felt way more personal and friendly, which really makes a difference. Huge thanks for making our trip memorable.

The trip and the hotel were just right; we’re really glad we chose Jamaica and would absolutely do it again. Normally, after a week-long vacation, we’re ready to head home, but this time we all felt like we could’ve stayed even longer. My daughter celebrated her 21st birthday in Jamaica, and on that day, we went horseback riding in the ocean and enjoyed water rafting in the great river.

I just enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Thailand, thanks to Zobia from Best at Travel. We visited three different spots, and each one was fantastic. The transfers were smooth, and all the hotels suggested by Zobia were top-notch. This is my second trip arranged through Best at Travel, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again.

Neil Skeet was our travel advisor, and let me tell ya, he was super helpful and very professional. We ran into a problem with our hotel, and Neil really went above and beyond to sort it out. It felt like he truly got what we were going through, and his way of communicating with us was just top-notch.

Based on all the other negative reviews, you really shouldn't trust this company and should consider booking somewhere else. They also seem to charge way too much in hindsight and their customer service is just awful. They take your deposit and then come up with bogus claims about cancellations and rebooking. For instance, they claimed I had a holiday booked in Greece, but when I asked about it, they confessed there was no booking at all. To top it off, they refused to give me a refund for a trip that was supposed to happen during the Covid-19 lockdown, only offering a credit instead. Always use a credit card when booking.

If you're new to booking with Best at Travel and planning a trip soon while wanting to use a credit card, steer clear! I arranged a Christmas getaway to Dubai and after putting down my deposit with my card, I hit a wall trying to pay the remaining balance. Despite their earlier promises, I found out after several calls over four days that I couldn't use my card because I was a first-time customer and there were some tech issues. So, I ended up finding a better deal with Travel Republic, who actually let me pay over the phone with my card. But Best at Travel wouldn’t refund my deposit and said my only choice was a bank transfer. I mentioned that this would cost me more since I’d lose loyalty points by not using my preferred card, but they didn’t offer any discount or compensation for that, even after I asked. While the hotel was just what my family and I hoped for, and Luke from customer service was nice (even if he couldn’t fix my issue), I’d need a really tempting offer to consider booking with Best at Travel again. They really ought to be more flexible in this cutthroat travel market.

Vishali was fantastic, grasped the numerous needs for our trip, and used her expertise to narrow down the options to the most affordable package available. Booking online is a breeze, relying on reviews and hotel details, but when you're shelling out a good amount of cash and aiming for perfection in every detail - her insights on the coasts, weather conditions, nearby facilities, and clientele gave us confidence that the hotel matched our expectations perfectly. Outstanding service.
